Michael C. Forman is the Chairman & CEO of FS Investments and has been leading the company since founding it in 2007. Mr. Forman serves as Chairman and CEO of each of the firm’s funds and chairs all fund investment committees.
Prior to co-founding FS Investments, Mr. Forman founded a private equity and real estate investment firm. He started his career as a corporate and securities lawyer.
Mr. Forman is a member of a number of civic and charitable boards, including The Franklin Institute (Executive Committee member), Vetri Community Partnership (Chairman), The Barnes Foundation (Corporate Leadership Board member), the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Corporate Council member) and the Center City District Foundation (Board of Directors). He serves as the Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign for The Philadelphia School. He was a founding member and served on the Executive Committee of the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT). He also served The University of the Arts as a Trustee and Executive Committee member of its Advancement and Investment Sub-Committee.
Mr. Forman received his BA from the University of Rhode Island where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He received his JD from Rutgers School of Law.
Mr. Forman is married and lives with his wife and three daughters in Philadelphia.
Philip M. Browne serves as Managing Director of Finance and Administration at FS Investments, where he is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the finance and accounting functions across all firm entities.
Mr. Browne brings more than 25 years of executive and director experience in all matters of finance and accounting operations. Before joining FS Investments, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Advanta Corporation, a public financial services company with over $10 billion in managed assets. In this role, he was responsible for managing the company’s finance, accounting, treasury, securitization and investor relations functions, and he played an integral role in managing the company’s strategic planning and regulatory relationships. Prior to Advanta, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen LLP where he practiced for 16 years as a certified public accountant and provided audit and business advisory services to companies in a broad range of industries, with a focus on financial services and retail companies.
Throughout his career, Mr. Browne has served on the boards of a number of public companies. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and is the Audit Committee Chairman of The Bon Ton Stores, Inc., a public retail department store company. He is also currently serving on the Board of Directors and as the Treasurer for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national non-profit organization dedicated to the education and support of individuals impacted by breast cancer.
Mr. Browne received his BS cum laude, with special attainments in Commerce, from Washington and Lee University.
Mr. Browne lives with his wife and two sons near Philadelphia.
Steve DeAngelis is Executive Vice President and Head of Distribution at FS Investments. Mr. DeAngelis serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and as President of FS Investment Solutions, FS Investments’ wholly owned broker-dealer subsidiary.
Mr. DeAngelis brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, both as a sales leader and business builder. In his most recent role as Managing Director, Head of U.S. Advisor Solutions Group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, he led distribution of all products and services to registered investment advisors, regional and national wirehouses, and independent broker-dealers. He was also responsible for managing home office relationships, on both the distribution and platform research sides. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he co-founded and served as President of ADVISORport, Inc., the industry’s first web-based platform for delivering customized managed account services to broker-dealers, banks and third-party RIAs. He also held several senior positions at Delaware Capital Management after starting his career at Brinker Capital, Inc.
Mr. DeAngelis earned a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation.
Mr. DeAngelis is a regular lecturer at the Villanova School of Business, serves on the Advisory Council for the Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneur Center at the Villanova School of Business and is a member of his church’s Finance Council.
Mr. DeAngelis lives with his wife and three children in the Philadelphia suburbs.
Michael F. Gerber is Executive Vice President of FS Investments. He manages firm administration, corporate development and public affairs, including government and regulatory affairs, media relations and civic engagement. Additionally, he serves as President of the FS Investments Foundation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gerber was a member of the Board of Directors for FS Investments’ third fund, FS Investment Corporation II (FSIC II), and practiced law at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, where he was a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice group.
Mr. Gerber has a history of public service, having served eight years in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and six years as a trustee of Pennsylvania’s State Employees’ Retirement System (SERS), where he was a member of the Audit and Investment Committees. During his tenure in public office, he also held key party posts, chairing the Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee and serving as treasurer of the DLCC, a national political organization that supports state House and Senate campaign committees across the country. Earlier in his career, he served as legal counsel to Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell’s transition team and as a law clerk for Judge Ronald L. Buckwalter of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Gerber serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and on the boards of the Children’s Scholarship Fund of Philadelphia and Camp Tecumseh, a sports camp for boys in Moultonboro, NH.
Mr. Gerber earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated cum laude from Villanova University School of Law, where he received a scholarship award for his involvement in community legal services.
Mr. Gerber lives with his wife and three children in the Philadelphia suburbs.
Mike Kelly serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at FS Investments. He oversees the Investment Management and Product Development functions. His responsibilities include developing new, innovative alternative investment funds and overseeing our investment staff and sub-adviser partners to ensure our funds meet the needs of our investors.
Mr. Kelly has extensive experience in investment management, product development and business development. Most recently, he was CEO of ORIX USA Asset Management, where he led the company’s acquisition of Robeco, a $250 billion global asset management company and the largest acquisition in ORIX’s 50-year history. He started his career on Wall Street at Salomon Brothers and went on to join hedge fund pioneers Omega Advisors and Tiger Management. He then helped build and lead the hedge fund firm FrontPoint Partners, where he first served as Chief Investment Officer and eventually Co-CEO.
Mr. Kelly is a graduate of Cornell University and earned his MBA at Stanford University.
Mr. Kelly is a co-founder and board member of the Spotlight Foundation, and serves as a trustee of the Tiger Foundation and the Stanford Business School Trust.
Mr. Kelly lives in Connecticut with his wife and two sons.
Zachary Klehr is the Executive Vice President of Fund Management at FS Investments leading portfolio management, fund operations, client service, fund strategy, and communication and positioning for the company and its investment funds. Mr. Klehr is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and serves on the Investment Committees for FS Investment Corporation, FS Investment Corporation II, FS Investment Corporation III, FS Investment Corporation IV, FS Energy & Power Fund and FS Global Credit Opportunities Fund.
Before joining FS Investments, Mr. Klehr was a Vice President at the private equity firm Versa Capital Management, where he sourced, underwrote, negotiated, structured and managed investments in middle market companies, special situations and distressed debt. Prior to Versa, he spent five years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. starting in the Investment Banking Division, then in the Executive Office working on firm-wide strategy covering hedge funds and other complex multifaceted clients of the firm. Later, he joined the Financial Sponsors Group where he worked on leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and equity and debt financings for Goldman Sachs’ private equity clients.
Mr. Klehr received his MBA with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BA cum laude, also from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Klehr is active in his community and has served on numerous civic and charitable boards including the Board of Trustees of The Philadelphia School, the Board of Directors of Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT), and the Leadership Council of The Wistar Institute.
Mr. Klehr lives with his wife and two sons in Philadelphia.
Jeff Rosenblum was an original investor in FS Investments. As Senior Advisor of Technology & Strategy at FS Investments, his focus is on strategy, marketing and operational excellence.
Having led several organizations through various stages of growth and restructuring, Mr. Rosenblum brings to the firm more than 20 years of management expertise as well as proven experience managing marketing and sales distribution platforms. Before joining FS Investments, he served as Executive Vice President, Business Development, of SHPS, Inc., a leading provider of integrated health solutions, where he formulated the business development strategy and built and managed relationships with business partners and market influencers. In this role, he also led Landacorp, an autonomous subsidiary within SHPS that provides medical management software to health plans and hospitals. He previously served as President and CEO of the eBenX mid-market business unit, which SHPS acquired in 2003. Before joining eBenX, he was President and CEO of Arbor Associates, a benefit administration company he founded in 1991 that was purchased by eBenX in 2000.
Mr. Rosenblum is a graduate of Northwestern University and holds a BS from the university’s School of Education.
Mr. Rosenblum currently sits on the Board of Symmetry Peak Management and the School of Education at Northwestern University.
Gerald F. Stahlecker serves as Executive Vice President of FS Investments and its investment adviser affiliates. He also serves as President of FS Investment Corporation (NYSE: FSIC) and as Executive Vice President of FS Investments’ other sponsored investment funds. Mr. Stahlecker serves as a member of the investment committee of each of the firm’s funds. He oversees portfolio management and all finance, legal and compliance functions for each of the funds and their respective advisers.
Prior to joining FS Investments, Mr. Stahlecker was a founding partner, Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Chair of the investment committee of Radcliffe Capital Management, an investment advisory firm that manages hedge funds and separately managed accounts for institutional investors. Prior to that, he was an officer and director of Rose Glen Capital Management, a predecessor to Radcliffe that managed hedge funds focusing on directly negotiated, structured debt and equity investments in public companies. Before moving into investment management, he practiced corporate and securities law as an attorney at Klehr, Harrison, Harvey, Branzburg & Ellers LLP, representing hedge funds, private equity funds and other institutional investors pursuing structured equity and debt investments in public and private companies. Prior to law school, he worked as a senior analyst at Furash & Company, a consulting boutique in Washington, DC, where he advised banks and other financial institutions regarding mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, asset/liability management and strategic planning.
Mr. Stahlecker received his BS in Industrial Management and Rhetoric from Carnegie Mellon University and his JD from Villanova University Law School, where he was an editor of the Villanova University Environmental Law Journal.
Mr. Stahlecker is a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Investment Program Association and on the Board of Trustees of The Philadelphia School.

Mike Vessels serves as Executive Vice President and National Sales Manager at FS Investment Solutions, FS Investments’ wholly owned broker-dealer subsidiary. He is responsible for the sales and distribution of all FS Investments’ strategies. As a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, he also contributes to the overall management of the company.
Mr. Vessels has over 20 years of experience distributing financial products to intermediaries and institutional investors. Before joining FS Investment Solutions, he served as Managing Director at FundCore Finance Group, where he was responsible for the firm’s fundraising activities with institutional investors. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at AIM Investments where he was Global Partner and National Sales Manager responsible for over $7 billion in annual sales.
Mr. Vessels is a graduate of Montana State University where he earned a BS in Marketing.

Berta Aldrich serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at FS Investments. She is responsible for managing the firm’s brand, marketing communications, education efforts and the overall client experience for advisors and investors.
Ms. Aldrich brings over 20 years of industry-leading marketing expertise serving large traditional asset managers, plan sponsors, investors and advisors. Prior to joining FS Investments, she served in a variety of marketing and financial education roles at Vanguard, most recently as the Head of Advisor Channel Marketing Strategy and Planning. She also served as the Head of Marketing Operations, Head of R&D Participant Education and Marketing Executive for full-service Institutional Plan Sponsors. Prior to Vanguard, she spent 13 years at the Principal Financial Group where she led departments responsible for marketing, financial education, operations and underwriting in both the Pension and Group Insurance Divisions.
Ms. Aldrich received her BA in Business with a concentration in Finance from Iowa State University and her MBA from St. Joseph’s University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Iota Delta Honor Society for academic excellence in Strategy and Statistics.
Ms. Aldrich is active in the financial marketing community where she has served as a judge for the Financial Communications Society, a Board Member of the Mutual Fund Education Association and a frequent panelist and expert on the topics of brand and financial education. In 2013 she was named one of the 20 Rising Stars in Financial Marketing by the Gramercy Institute. She is a member of the board of directors for Camphill Special School in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania, and served on the executive committee for the 2016 American Heart Association Go Red for Women campaign.
Ms. Aldrich resides in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, with her husband and two children.
Brian Boulerice serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development for FS Investment Solutions, FS Investments’ wholly owned broker-dealer subsidiary. Mr. Boulerice is charged with cultivating relationships among FS Investments’ major business partners at the broker-dealer level and works closely with OSJs and centers of influence across the country. He joined the company in 2009 as the first salesperson hired internally when the firm was establishing its distribution team.
Prior to joining FS Investment Solutions, Mr. Boulerice was on the wholesale and distribution side of the business at Franklin Templeton Investments. Before that, he spent seven years as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo (formerly known as Wachovia Securities) as part of one of its largest advisory teams in the country. He started his career at Signator Investors Inc., a part of John Hancock Financial Network.
Mr. Boulerice is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a BS in Finance from the School of Business. He also studied abroad at the University of Queensland Business School in Brisbane, Australia.

Eric Edwards is a Senior Vice President at FS Investments and serves as its head of government affairs.
Before joining FS Investments, Mr. Edwards was a Partner at Crowell & Moring LLP, where he was Chair of the firm’s government affairs practice group. Prior to this, he served as a Vice President in the Office of Government Affairs at the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., where he managed a legislative and regulatory portfolio that included the implementation of the “Volcker Rule” and the broader impact of the Dodd-Frank Act on the firm’s merchant banking and asset management divisions. Previously, he held leadership positions on a variety of committees and personal staffs in the House and Senate dating back to the mid-1990s. In those various positions, he played a lead role in developing the nation’s first-ever anti-money laundering strategy and directed a subcommittee investigation into the International Monetary Fund. He began his policy career working for the late Senator Paul Simon (D-Ill.), with stints in Simon’s Chicago and Washington, DC, offices. In Washington, he advised Senator Simon on banking and commerce issues and served as his assistant counsel on the Senate Special Committee on Whitewater.
Mr. Edwards received his JD and LLM, with honors, from the John Marshall Law School, his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his BA from Purdue University.

Steve Landau is the Senior Vice President of Product Development at FS Investments, responsible for sourcing, evaluating and designing new alternative investment strategies and other business development opportunities.
Mr. Landau has over 15 years of investment management experience across fund development, business development, strategy and M&A, with a focus on alternative investments. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at New York Life Investments where he led the product development efforts across the enterprise as well as business development initiatives for alternative investments. Before New York Life, he worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he was responsible for product development and management for alternative investments. He also spent five years at UBS Global Asset Management where he was Director of Product Development and Management. He began his investment career at Republic National Bank as a proprietary emerging market currency trader. He has co-authored several industry white papers and has been a speaker at industry conferences.
Mr. Landau received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his BS from Yeshiva University. He is also a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Matthew Malone is the Senior Vice President of Due Diligence at FS Investments. Mr. Malone leads the firm’s efforts in supporting its clients’ home office personnel and third-party firms performing due diligence on FS Investments’ offerings.
Prior to joining FS Investments, Mr. Malone spent over eight years at Snyder Kearney LLC performing due diligence and research on a variety of alternative investments, including non-traded real estate investment trusts and business development companies, on behalf of independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisors. He finished his tenure at Snyder Kearney as a Partner.
Mr. Malone received his JD from The George Washington University Law School and his BA in Economics from the University of Maryland. He is a CFA charterholder and serves on the Board of Directors for the CFA Society of Washington, DC.
Mr. Malone lives in the Washington, DC, area with his wife and three children.
Ania Mikson serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at FS Investments. In this role, she leads the firm’s efforts in the areas of talent and performance management, training and development, and succession planning.
Ms. Mikson brings over 20 years of experience in financial services HR. Before joining FS Investments, she led global HR for Macquarie Investment Management, parent company of Delaware Investments. Prior to that, she served as Head of Human Resources at Delaware Investments where she played a critical role in transitioning Delaware during its acquisition by Macquarie. Earlier in her career, she was Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Lincoln Financial Group and Director of Leadership Development at Cigna.
Ms. Mikson received a BA in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College, an MBA with a concentration in finance from Villanova University, and an MSOD from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Mikson is a member of the board of directors for Settlement Music School (MLC Branch), which provides instruction in music and the related arts to children and adults.
Christopher R. Reece serves as the Senior Vice President for the Fund Strategy group at FS Investments and is involved in the management, development, rollout and marketing of the firm’s product lines, with a focus on FS Energy & Power Fund.
With over 20 years in the investment and financial services industry, Mr. Reece has a wealth of experience ranging from investment management to institutional sales. Prior to joining FS Investments, he spent five years as a Director with Turner Investment Partners, an investment firm that, at the time, managed more than $13 billion of securities for institutions and individuals. At Turner, he was responsible for managing the firm’s largest institutional relationships spread across alternative, domestic and international strategies. In this role, he was also responsible for generating investment research and articulating detailed portfolio analysis of the firm’s strategies to clients. Before joining Turner, he was a Product Specialist with Planco/The Hartford Mutual Funds and was instrumental in successfully building out their registered investment advisor channel. His product responsibilities focused primarily on positioning The Hartford Floating Rate Fund to advisors and wholesalers. Prior to this role, he spent two years at David Vaughan Investments as a senior relationship manager and eight years at The Vanguard Group, most recently as an international investment analyst.
Mr. Reece received his MBA from Villanova University and his BS in Finance from Drexel University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is an active member of both the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Philadelphia.

John R. Shain serves as a Managing Director, is a founding partner of FS Investments and is Head of RIA Distribution of FS Investment Solutions, FS Investments’ wholly owned broker-dealer subsidiary. He is responsible for the development, launch and ongoing management of RIA distribution.
Before co-founding FS Investments, Mr. Shain served as Senior Vice President of CNL Real Estate Advisors where he oversaw the real estate investment and acquisition function, including deal structuring and negotiation, underwriting and due diligence as well as debt financing and asset management for all real estate transactions. Previously, he was a founding partner and principal with Madison Harbor Capital Management, LLC, where he was responsible for marketing and investor relations. Prior to Madison Harbor, he was Principal and Portfolio Manager of Prudential Real Estate Securities Investors where he was responsible for portfolio management for the North American Property Securities Trust.
Earlier in his career, he was a founding partner and Managing Director at Global Property Advisors, LLC, a real estate securities investment management firm. He also served as Vice President at Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company where he was responsible for originating investments in a $750 million real estate portfolio. His career began at Prudential where he spent 10 years in various real estate investment positions.
Mr. Shain received his BBA and MBA in Finance and MS in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Stephen Sypherd serves as Managing Director and General Counsel of FS Investments and its investment adviser affiliates. In this role, he is responsible for legal and compliance matters across all FS Investments entities and investment funds. He also serves as the Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary of each of the firm’s sponsored investment funds.
Prior to joining FS Investments, Mr. Sypherd served for eight years as an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where he practiced corporate and securities law. While at Skadden, he represented multinational public and private companies in a wide variety of matters including debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate and compliance matters.

Mr. Sypherd received his BA cum laude in Economics from Villanova University and his JD cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an executive editor of The Georgetown Law Journal. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Villanova University School of Law.
Thomas Trala is the Managing Director of Corporate Development at FS Investments, focusing on the planning and execution of operational and business development initiatives.
Prior to joining FS Investments, Mr. Trala was Executive Managing Director, Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Turner Investments. He was also the Interested Trustee and the President of the Turner Funds, a series of growth equity and alternative investment strategies. Among his many responsibilities at Turner, he guided, developed and executed on company strategy and executed a number of acquisitions, divestitures, fund launches, mergers, liquidations and adoptions. Prior to Turner, he was an audit manager for Ernst & Young in Philadelphia, specializing in entrepreneurial enterprises and investment management industry clients.
Mr. Trala graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Widener University. He also holds CPA and CGMA designations.
Mr. Trala is active in his community, currently serving on the Investment Management Industry Committee of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey Annual Campaign Cabinet. He also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the School of Business Administration at Widener University.
Tucker Twitmyer is the Senior Vice President and head of Private Equities, responsible for the management and expansion of the asset class at FS Investments.
Before joining FS Investments, Mr. Twitmyer was a Managing Director at EnerTech Capital Partners, an alternative investment firm focused on the energy and power sectors, where he managed a direct investment portfolio and institutional sponsor relations. Prior to EnerTech, he was a co-founder and Managing Director of Katalyst, LLC, an operations consulting firm serving private equity, venture capital and family offices. Earlier in his career, as a Senior Manager with Andersen Consulting Strategic Services, he developed strategies for some of the world’s largest communications, manufacturing and service companies. He started his career as a Project Manager with MultiServ managing, developing and implementing information technology systems.
Mr. Twitmyer received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BA, also from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Twitmyer has served on more than 25 for-profit boards as well as several not-for-profit boards and committees. Currently he serves as a Director of the Wharton Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
Brad West is Managing Director and Chief Information Officer at FS Investments, where he is responsible for business operations and the company’s information technology and service centers. In this role, he is focused on integrating technology platforms and streamlining processes to support infrastructure excellence.
With nearly 20 years of executive-level strategic and operational expertise, Mr. West is an accomplished leader and entrepreneur whose professional appointments span channel operations, product and business solution development, and process re-engineering. Most recently, he served as CEO and led the successful exit of an industry-leading compliance training firm providing services to financial institutions.
Mr. West is a summa cum laude graduate of St. John’s University and holds a BA in Economics. He also holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, with concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management.
Mr. West is married and lives with his wife and three children in Pennsylvania.
Kristine Westley is Managing Director of Fund Operations at FS Investments. In this role, she oversees all fund operations including customer service, ongoing support of existing products and developing the back office to support new technologies and regulatory opportunities. In addition, she assists in the development of new products and sales channels.
Before joining FS Investments, Ms. Westley was Vice President of Operations at CNL Financial Group overseeing both REIT and BDC programs. She has been involved in several liquidation and listing events and initiated and assisted in rebuilding the industry’s record-keeping system to accommodate non-traded investments. Additionally, she worked for several years at the sponsor level on broker-dealer due diligence for alternative investments. Prior to CNL, she worked at GE Capital.
Ms. Westley earned her BS in Marketing from Ferris State University.
Ms. Westley is a member of the Investment Program Association where she participates on the Operations Committee. She also serves on the DTCC Steering Committee for its Alternative Investment Product (AIP). She is a member of the Cornerstone Society with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida.
Ms. Westley lives in Orlando, Florida, with her two daughters.
