Michael Forman and FS Investments will be honored during the January 24 ceremony at the Fitler Club

Philadelphia, December 17, 2018 – The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) will honor Michael Forman, Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of FS Investments, and FS Investments as the recipients of the 41st annual ADL Americanism Award. The ceremony will be held on January 24, 2019 at the new Fitler Club in Philadelphia.

The ADL Americanism Award ceremony, called “The Good Fight,” draws hundreds of corporate executives and community leaders from across the region annually. The award recognizes leaders in business, community affairs and charitable endeavors who have distinguished themselves and their organizations through dedication to preserving liberty and advancing the causes of human rights, dignity, diversity and equal opportunity.

“ADL is delighted to present Michael Forman and FS Investments with the 2018 Americanism Award for their leadership in promoting diversity and challenging bias in Philadelphia,” said Nancy K. Baron-Baer, ADL Regional Director. “Michael and FS Investments have been advocates for promoting equity, diversity and community, and their actions speak even louder than their words. Their efforts to support underserved youth in the region embody the ADL values of inclusion, respect and care for others. Michael and FS Investments truly deserve this special honor.”

The Good Fight’s program will include cocktails, networking, dinner, a live auction and remarks from Ms. Baron-Baer, NBA legend and co-founder of Admiral Capital Group David Robinson and this year’s honoree.

“It is a privilege to support ADL in its mission to fight bigotry, protect civil rights and exemplify what it means to be a responsible citizen,” said Mr. Forman. “ADL’s work remains as important today as it was when the organization was founded in 1913. At FS Investments, we hold ourselves accountable to set a standard for promoting diversity, inclusion and respect. I am honored to accept this award on behalf of my colleagues who live the values of ADL every day.”

The Good Fight will be the first public event held at the highly anticipated Fitler Club located in Center City, Philadelphia. Tickets start at $400, with the proceeds benefiting ADL’s mission and programming throughout the year. More event information, including how to purchase tickets or sponsor the event, can be found here. Sponsorship commitments must be made by December 31, 2018, and RSVP’s are encouraged by January 11, 2019.
